JEWELRY
My jewelry fetish began when I was young, and my style evolved as I got older (well, hello Tiffany’s, so lovely to meet you…).  After I left my full-time job to stay home with my little sweet pea, I took a jewelry class at a local bead and jewelry store. Then I bought some beads and sterling, then more beads, and more sterling. Fast forward a year or so, then I discovered metal stamping, so I bought sterling discs and hammers, and even more beads. As I wore my jewelry ’round town, people started commenting on them. I went back and took more classes, bought more beads, 18 pairs of pliers, took over our extra bedroom, and I started my jewelry business shortly after. I’ve been going strong since 2006.

GRAPHIC & WEB DESIGN
I’ve been working in the areas of graphic arts and web for nearly 15 years.  At my most recent in-an-office kinda job, I spent 4 years at Triton PCS as a web developer. During my time there I was solely responsible for the expansion of a company-wide intranet from 300 pages to over 1,500.  No small feat.

Since I began making jewelry, my web and graphic design business has mellowed, but I’m always open to helping people out, so if you need a little help with a logo or business card design, do drop me a line.

PUBLIC RELATIONS
I currently hold a PR Coordinator position with M. NICHOLS Communications.  For the last 6 years I’ve worked part-time for Melissa N., sending out press releases, managing our distribution lists and other juicy PR-type stuff.  If you need help with your PR, then M. NICHOLS is THE place to go.
